Welcome to Kalungi Community Health Centre
Kalungi Community Health Centre is a dedicated, non-profit healthcare facility committed to improving the health and well-being of the people in West Buganda Diocese, Uganda. Established in 1989, our mission is to provide accessible, affordable, and high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities, focusing on maternal and child health, disease prevention, and health education.
Located on the outskirts of Lukaya Town Council, our centre serves a population of approximately 70,000 residents across Kalungu District and surrounding areas. We operate in a challenging environment characterized by limited infrastructure, scarce resources, and high poverty levels, but our team is passionate about making a difference.
Our Services include antenatal and postnatal care, immunization, maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS and TB clinics, laboratory diagnostics, dental care, family planning, nutrition support, and outreach programs. We work closely with community volunteers, traditional birth attendants, and local leaders to ensure health services reach even the most remote villages.
At Kalungi, we believe in a holistic approach to health — combining modern medicine with traditional practices, community empowerment, and health education to foster healthier, self-reliant communities. Despite facing numerous challenges, our team remains committed to reducing maternal and infant mortality, combating preventable diseases, and promoting health awareness.
Join us in building a healthier future for our community. Together, we can make health for all a reality.
